Setup Outlook 2003 with WebsiteValet.com Hosted Exchange (Automated)
Follow the instructions below to setup your Exchange mailbox in Outlook 2003.
Download our "Outlook Setup Software" to automatically create a new Outlook profile for your Exchange mailbox. Click the link (olsetupv3.exe) at the bottom of this page and save the file to your desktop.
Close Microsoft Outlook if it is open.
NOTE: If you are running an Outlook version which is NOT Outlook 2003, you need to upgrade to Outlook 2003 for our service to work properly.
NOTE: If you are running Windows XP, please ensure that your system is updated to Service Pack 2 (SP2).
Start the "Outlook Setup Software" by double-clicking the icon on your desktop. Click Setup.
The "Outlook Setup Software" will select the setting which is most appropriate for you. Please do not change this unless you are advised to do so by Tim Taricco. If RPC/HTTP is not selected, please contact Tim Taricco.
Enter your email address (i.e. YourName@YourDomain.com) and hit Next.
You will see the following information box:
Click on OK.
The login window will come up and prompt you to login, enter your full e-mail address for your username & your password:
Click on OK.
Click on Finish.
Outlook will open automatically & you will be prompted to select a profile - the profile name will be in the following format: "Exchange Hosting {your email address}"
Select it and click on OK.
You may be asked to login with your username and password multiple times, please do so. If you get an error window stating that "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable."; please click on Retry.
You're ready to use Outlook! Every time you start Outlook, you will be prompted to logon with your username & password.
