Firefox 1.0

Safari
Safari - As you might expect from Apple made software, "Safari doesn’t have a setting to control the cache." As usual, Apple wants to control your experience, so you have to do it Apple's way which means manually deleting your cache. Internet Explorer - To completely disable browser caching or to force the browser to check for a new version of each page it visits, in Internet Explorer, click “Tools,” “Internet Options,” “Temporary Internet Files,” “Settings.” Then under “Check for newer versions of stored pages,” select “Every time I visit the webpage.” Firefox - To completely disable browser caching or to force the browser to check for a new version of each page it visits, in Firefox, click on “Tools,” “Options,” then click on the “Network” tab. Under “Offline Storage,” put a 0 in the number of MB that Firefox should use for the cache. If you find that your Web browsing slows down considerably, you can change the number to something larger - just remember that this will turn your browser cache back on. |
