Setting up a Google Analytics Account

If WebsiteValet.com has recently built a website for you, most likely Google Analytics was integrated in to your website. Contact Tim Taricco to confirm that Google Analytics was integrated and what e-mail address was associated to your Google Analytics reports.

To access your website's Google Analytics reports, you must have a "Google Account." Most clients with websites hosted with WebsiteValet.com have Google Apps e-mail addresses, but having a Google Apps e-mail address does not mean it is enabled as a "Google Account." Go to www.google.com/analytics/ and try to sign-in using the e-mail address associated with your Google Analytics reports. If you are unable to sign in, follow the directions below:

1. Go to www.google.com/analytics/ and click "Sign Up Now."
2. When signing up for your "Google Account," be sure to use the e-mail address associated with your Google Analytics reports.
3. After you sign up, Google will send a message to your e-mail address and you will need to click the link in the message to "confirm" your account.
4. Once you account is confirmed, go to www.google.com/analytics/ and sign-in to view your Google Analytics reports.
